That was a rather unexpected, overwhelming experience for Faith.

In our new book Bubble UP Church focusing on all the “one anothers”
in the New Testament, Gary and I entitled one chapter, I Prayed for You, based
on James 5:16, “Pray for each other so that you may be healed.” In “My Take” of that chapter I asked, “How
often have you heard the promise, ‘I will remember to pray for you.’? My next question is how do you know that
person will actually remember to pray?
You can be sure they will pray for you if you hear them pray out loud in
your presence.” Why is it so hard for followers
of Christ to pray out loud like Sophia is learning?

We are forging ahead with our outreach program for our Hillside church in Milton. Survey reports have been dropped off at 114 homes for people who had taken our survey over the past year. Another letter written by Pastor Aaron has also been put in many of their mailboxes. Please pray for these people to take the opportunity to read our literature, comprehend what has been written and find enough courage to come out to one of our “Come & See” Sunday services. We would also appreciate prayer for a new family that has attended during July. This was a connection made from Aaron’s painting business. They have suffered a lot of deaths in their family since last year and seemed to find hope upon their visit. More people will be surveyed in the weeks ahead, many of whom are suffering from similar heartache. We really need some stable Christian families to join with us in our ministry. Aaron is looking for a partner to serve with him in the church and the business. Maybe we should ask Sophia to pray for this request!

Enjoy another long weekend with your family,

Wendy

Wendy.carter@kainos.org

Hi there: “It worked!” exclaimed our six-year-old granddaughter, Sophia. She was concerned about her aunt whom I mentioned about last month and her fractured ankle which caused serious blood clots. After a few terrible days in the hospital, our daughter Rebekah was home and feeling much better. Sophia had prayed with her teacher, her mom […]

["post-140","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry
["GET
