{"id":204,"date":"2020-07-31T20:22:49","date_gmt":"2020-07-31T20:22:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wendycarter.website\/?p=204"},"modified":"2020-07-31T20:22:49","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T20:22:49","slug":"gods-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wendycarter.info\/?p=204","title":{"rendered":"God&#8217;s Way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Hello there!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One day while out walking, our neighbour led Gary and I to the bridge over our Credit river in Churchville.\u00a0 He told us to look at a Weeping Willow branch hanging over the bank by his backyard.\u00a0 About 20 feet up the branch from the water he had discovered a bird\u2019s nest the size of a softball buried within the leaves.\u00a0 The nest belongs to a Baltimore Oriole and its family.\u00a0 How clever is that? A few days later, we showed our daughter and her family this bird\u2019s interesting home.\u00a0 All of a sudden, we spied a huge turtle, about 2 feet in diameter, sticking his nose up out of the water below looking up at us. We have never seen one like him. So how long have these rushing waters been his home?\u00a0 Another day when Gary was out walking a mother raccoon followed by her small babies crossed the road ahead of him.\u00a0 Was she taking them to some new living quarters?\u00a0 Then as we were heading into our grocery store one morning, we saw a mother duck with her 6 goslings obediently following her in a line across the busy parking lot.\u00a0 Was she taking them to a new home too?\u00a0 We stood gawking, holding our breath for fear that a car would unexpectedly come along and smush them all.\u00a0 Everyone of God\u2019s creatures keeps busy lives with much determination.\u00a0 They know God\u2019s way that has been built within each one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I was intrigued, recently, to hear some women on a television talk show admit that they really didn\u2019t want to go back to the chaotic lifestyle they led before COVID. This crisis has caused everyone to re-evaluate every aspect of their lives.\u00a0 They need to come to the realization that God\u2019s way is not chaotic. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Another neighbour of ours has agreed to read the book of John in the Bible Gary gave to her for her father-in-law.\u00a0 She is concerned about his struggles with terminal health issues along with questioning where God is in all this turmoil. Please pray that God will open both their eyes to fully understand His way that he has outlined for them in His Word.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thomas, Jesus\u2019 disciple asked Him in John 14:5-6, \u201cLord, we don\u2019t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?\u201d Jesus answered him, \u201cI\u00a0am\u00a0the\u00a0way\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0truth and\u00a0the\u00a0life.
