Aren\u2019t you happy with yourself when you have finally finished a\nproject you have been working on for quite a while? Gary and I have been co-authoring a book for\nover a year. All the writing is done with\na little more formatting needed. Then we can send it off to be printed. Our dear friend, Dr. Warwick Cooper, from\nPeoples Church commented in his forward that this is our best so far. And Gary and I didn\u2019t do much arguing over\nthe whole production which is amazing for any old married couple. We have named\nthe book Bubble Up Church! That\u2019s all the information I will give you until\nnext month when it will be available to purchase. Everyone must buy a copy for their own\npersonal Christian growth and development and for much needed improvement in\nrelationship building in the local church. \nIt will change your thinking. I\nsound like a salesperson but really, we are very excited from the response of a\nfew that have read a draft copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another life is finished. Dr.\nGordon Freeland, long-time pastor in the Fellowship denomination unexpectedly\ngot promoted to heaven this past week. \nHe and Gary had become good friends over the past recent years as Gordon\nand his wife, who is still living with dementia, have been residing in the\nseniors\u2019 complex not too far from our home. \nAs a matter of fact, Gary took him to the bank just last week. He will be sorely missed by his large family\nand many friends and acquaintances he knew all over Ontario and Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gary mentioned in this month\u2019s letter to our donors for our charity,\nKainos International Ministries, that two orphanages we have been supporting\nare now self-sustaining. Our financial\ncommitment with \u201cRichard\u201d and \u201cWilliam\u201d is finished which is a good thing. However, there is another person, \u201cThomas\u201d\nwho used to run \u201cRichard\u2019s\u201d orphanage. \nHe is interested in starting up his own orphanage through the establishment\nof a pig farm along with beginning a new church in the area where he and his\nfamily will be living. We are planning to\nhelp him raise $30,000 over this year. We\nwill gladly talk with anyone taken by this new endeavour to reach needy\nchildren and adults in Myanmar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ongoing saga of struggles for Aaron and Sara Bouchard and our\nMilton church start is not finished. \nActually, the rental place where they just moved to in December is\nfinished. Sadly, it didn\u2019t work out with\nthe landlord and them. Happily, with an answer to much prayer, they have been\nable to quickly find another place. Moving date is tomorrow! Oh boy! \nToo bad all their boxes had just gotten unpacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you wonder what Jesus meant when he declared, \u201cIt is finished!\u201d\nfound in John 19:30 as he hung on the cross? \nWith his human nature was he glad for some relief of the pain he had\nexperienced by human hands or did he have a huge sense of accomplishment? We surely have lots of questions to ask him. At least Gordon has his many questions answered\nnow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I trust you will be able to get many of your own worthwhile projects\nfinished this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
