So how many photo albums have you collected on your book-shelves pre-cell phone days?\u00a0 I have been looking at over 20.\u00a0 That must mean that Gary and I are very old with all the memories we have accumulated over our lives together and before.\u00a0 I decided this fall that it was time to dismantle them and cull what we don\u2019t want to keep e.g. pictures of people we have no clue as to who they are now.\u00a0 I also put many of those photos into picture boxes for our four children and their families for Christmas which was fun for them in remembering their early lives.\u00a0 I’m planning for our future as we can\u2019t take all these books to any retirement home we may move to.\u00a0 My remembering has also been very uplifting when reading positive comments from family members, fellow co-workers and friends particularly if these comments have related to our ministry wherever we have lived. Hmmm, so what do I do with all the photos on my cell phone?\u00a0 I guess I have to cull them too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our daughter, Sara, has been remembering as well. The other day she pulled out a Communion Song she had written several years ago for a church plant we had started in Mississauga. Here\u2019s the lyrics based on I Corinthians 11:23-26 – \u201cFor I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, \u2018This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.\u2019 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, \u2018This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.\u2019 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary reports: \u201cWe think we have uncovered a viable gateway here but as of this moment, we have asked enough questions to collectively draw the conclusion that our current move to purchase the kids\u2019 indoor playground isn\u2019t worth what we could offer. The concept seems sound, but the current business is not generating enough income to move us toward that goal\u2026 This could definitely change in the next few months because the current owner of the business and occupant of this ideal location is leaving the country and may not find a buyer. The location is likely to become available soon, along with the building\u2019s contents.\u201d Stay tuned and please keep praying!
